Getting back into a routine

What you can do after a missed session or a busy week.

01

Pick a manageable starting point.

Choose one action you can repeat: a short walk after lunch, preparing tomorrow’s breakfast, or keeping your agreed training slot. Start with what fits.

02

Have a smaller version.

A busy day may need a shorter action. Agree a suitable shorter workout with your coach, or keep a small part of your usual routine.

03

Let one missed day be one day.

Notice what got in the way and make the next step straightforward. Use your check-in to adjust the plan, rather than trying to punish yourself for a missed session.

04

Keep what works.

At the end of the week, ask what was easy to repeat and what needed too much effort. Use that to shape the next week.
