Your choice

Optional analytics is off until you choose “Accept analytics”. “Reject optional” keeps it off. Both choices let you use the website, enquire and join the email list. Use Cookie settings to change your mind at any time.

Essential choice storage

The first-party lic_cookie_consent cookie remembers your accepted or rejected choice for up to 180 days. It stores the choice and wording version, not a visitor identifier. Clearing cookies or using another browser may show the choice again. This preference is separate from email-list consent and app permissions.

Optional analytics

With your consent, we count daily page views and clicks on coaching, contact and app links on public information pages. No extra analytics cookie or visitor identifier is created. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site profiling.

Only the UTC day, a fixed public page category, event category and total are saved. Analytics records contain no names, email addresses, enquiry answers, IP addresses, referrers or URL query strings. Payment, sign-in, email-confirmation and demonstration pages are excluded. These are counts of views and clicks, not unique visitors or confirmed enquiries.

Daily totals support one calendar year of reporting. Older totals are removed as new accepted analytics requests arrive. Rejecting stops future analytics; previously combined totals cannot be traced to an individual visit. The host receives connection information to deliver and protect the site, and temporary keyed network hashes support separate security rate limits.

Sample workspace cookie

lic_demo identifies your fictional sample workspace. It is set only when you start the demo, is not used for advertising and expires after seven days. Browsing the marketing pages or preparing an enquiry does not create a sample session. The cookie is sent securely on HTTPS and cannot be read by page scripts. The associated server record also becomes inaccessible after seven days.

Resetting the demo removes its existing record and starts a fresh fictional sample session. Deleting the cookie in your browser removes access to that sample; it does not itself delete the server record. Expired server records are removed in limited batches when a later new sample session starts, rather than by a guaranteed deletion timer.

Display preferences

The sample sidebar now keeps its expanded or collapsed state only while the page is open. This version does not write or read a sidebar preference cookie. An older visit may have left a sidebar_state cookie; it expires within seven days of its last use or can be cleared in your browser.

Motion preference

If you use “Pause motion” or “Resume motion”, we save lic-visual-motion-v1 in local storage to remember that display choice in this browser. It contains only on or off. It has no set expiry and remains until you choose “Forget motion choice”, clear this site’s browser data, or your browser removes it. It is separate for each website or app address, is not linked to your coaching account and is separate from your analytics choice.

Forgetting the choice restores the default motion setting. Your device’s reduced-motion preference still takes priority. If browser storage is blocked, the choice may apply only to the current page.

Email signup and payment storage

Email-list and payment records are stored on the server, not as advertising cookies. Confirmation and unsubscribe links carry a protected reference so the website can process the choice you make. The privacy notice explains these records and their retention.

External services

The coaching app, Stripe checkout, WhatsApp, your email provider and other linked services use their own storage once you open them. The website’s app link does not pass enquiry answers or sign you in automatically.

Your browser controls

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the sample workspace cookie prevents that workspace from keeping your session. Other website information remains available. Contact will@lockincoaching.uk if you need help or want to ask about storage.

Any additional analytics, marketing or other storage will be assessed, explained here and, where required, kept off until you consent.
